Horizon Flevoland: Irene introduces herself

Horizon Flevoland: Irene introduces herself Time flies and by now I am hardly ‘new’ to Horizon Flevoland. As of 1 November, I am part of Horizon Flevoland’s International team. One of the first meetings I attended was the Invest in Holland masterclass in Enschede at the end of last year. The Sherwin-Williams Company

The Sherwin-Williams Company

The Sherwin-Williams Company On a Friday afternoon we visited The Sherwin-Williams Company. This company is established in Lelystad and Theo Wemmers has been the managing director for many years. The Sherwin-Williams Company is one of the big players in the field of varnishes and paints. It currently employs over 220 members of staff and, as it continues to be hard to find properly trained staff, Valspar has its own training centre in a building adjacent to its head-office. Ocean Choice International

Ocean Choice International

Ocean Choice International Ocean Choice recently took its next step in conquering the world. This Canadian company has chosen Urk, the fish centre of Europe in the province of Flevoland, as its location to further develop the European market. Data centres are looking for space

Recently, the Amsterdam region announced to want to exercise caution in its offer of space to meet the growing demand for data centres. For some time now, Flevoland has been pleased with the interest of the large players in this field. The hyper-scale data centres are searching the country ever more intensively for business locations with potential.
